Flick artist friend, and Meet the Crumplefunks creator CHRIS BLACK has been busy illustrating a new book - A Boy and a Beast! 📚

Following the success of the perfectly purple sock thieves Meet the Crumplefunks, Chris has teamed up again with writer and author Andy Dilks to tell a fine old-fashioned tale.

A Boy and a Beast is brimming with the magic of moral fables. Inspired by children’s books such as Aesop’s Fables, Hans Christian Anderson and the Brothers Grimm Andy captures the spirit of these classics and spins a story we can all learn a lesson from.

Beautifully illustrated with the unmistakable and stunning art style seen in Chris’ work (you know you 💜 the Meet the Crumplefunks Deck!) - readers can follow the journey of a young boy whose beastly misbehaving runs him into hot water with a witch who waves her wand turning him into a real BEAST! Will he be a Beast forever, or recognise the blunders he once made? 👹

As champions of not judging a beast by its cover - we adore how this book tenderly and artistically shows us it’s never too late to make amends and to always treat everyone with respect and dignity. ❤️
