Your magical and wintry deck has launched at a very festive time of year - how do you celebrate? 🎄

- My family personally doesn’t celebrate Christmas but I always liked the spirit of it and what it represents. I enjoy cosy winter and Christmas moods and like to illustrate the festive feeling of it.

What is your favourite Winter Wish suit and why?

- I like the Aces most because of the small winter creatures that give more variety to the other card suits.

Do you play card games? If so, which games, (bonus points for one we don’t know!).

- I used to play Pokemon card games a long time ago when the cards were collectables.

How did you find creating a card deck for Flick, and how long did it take?

- I found it relaxing and therapeutic since it was different from other projects that I do. It took roughly 3 weeks. 

What advice would you give to artists who want to design a deck for Flick?

- To stick to their unique style and gut feeling. Also to be self-aware of their style and skill level and keep improving.

Solitaire is a great way to relax so tell us how do you chill out?

- Playing Nintendo Switch games and trying to bring more beauty into the world thru art.  

Name the cutest animal that features in Winter Wish. ✨

- For me - they are all the Jacks. Winter robins for me are the cosiest winter birds.

Born and raised in Lithuania, please tell us more about the art scene there.

- The art that is taught here is very different from what I draw. Lithuanians prefer a more traditional and conservative means of art that is more abstract and expressive. I prefer the more western style.  

If you win a trip to anywhere in the world - where would you go? 🇯🇵

- Back to Japan again. Hope this time for longer than 2 weeks.

You can only work with three colours - what are they?

- Yellow, Blue and Green

What do you love about 2D art and illustration? How did you start in this artistic area?

- I like that it focuses less on skill and more on the storytelling aspect.
